What is sensed, and what stays in your hands?

SOLA Floor uses 24 GHz presence sensing and a movable work-position light sensor. Presence sensing does not identify you. Core light control does not require cloud access. Manual settings take priority; you position the lamp head and arm yourself.

Source: 20 integrating-sphere reports dated 4 September 2026, AEC in-house laboratory, SOLA Floor (formerly Axis). Peak measured output across the recorded sequence was 1,227.7 lm. Figures describe the tested sample and settings; they are not independent certification or a guarantee for every installation.

Color temperature describes how warm or cool the light appears; it is not a spectral range. These optical results apply to the tested SOLA Floor sample, not to other models or clinical sleep outcomes.

What about flicker, coverage and visual comfort?

SOLA Floor’s design draws on Harlowe’s professional imaging-lighting experience, where output stability and color fidelity matter. Final production flicker results, work-surface coverage and uniformity, and visual-comfort measurements will be published with their test conditions.

Room size, surfaces and lamp placement affect working light. The large-table scenes are application illustrations, not measured lux maps.

Before you decide

A few useful
answers.

Who is SOLA Floor designed for?

SOLA Floor is an adaptive floor lamp for people who work at larger desks, use sit–stand workstations, or want task light beside a reading table. Its base sits on the floor, leaving the desktop available for keyboards, papers and materials.

Should I choose SOLA Floor or SOLA Desk?

Choose SOLA Floor when you work across a larger desk or prefer to keep the lamp base off the desk. SOLA Desk suits a personal workspace with room for a tabletop base. Each works on its own; neither requires Halo Sound or a bundle.

What changes automatically, and what do I adjust?

SOLA Floor adjusts brightness and spectral mix using the time, your selected task and the light measured at the working position. Presence sensing supports return-to-light and switching off after you leave. You position the arm and head yourself, and manual control takes priority.

Does it need a camera or cloud connection to turn on?

No camera is used. The 24 GHz sensor detects presence without capturing images or identifying a person. Core light control does not require cloud access. You can disable presence sensing and use manual control.

Can SOLA Floor replace my room lighting?

SOLA Floor is task lighting for a working area, not a replacement for every light in the room. Use background lighting where you need it. Coverage at your desk depends on lamp height, head position and the room; published work-surface measurements should guide the final setup.

Does circadian lighting mean it will improve my sleep?

SOLA Floor changes the lighting environment with the time of day. Its optical measurements describe light output and color, not clinical sleep outcomes. Harlowelife products are not medical devices and do not diagnose or treat insomnia.

How does the $30 reservation work?

Request the reservation details by email. You will receive confirmed pricing, terms and a secure payment link when reservations open. This request is free and takes no payment. Once paid, a $30 reservation becomes a total $99 credit toward an eligible product, giving a net saving of $69. The $30 is already included in the $99 credit. SOLA Desk, SOLA Floor and Halo Sound are eligible; VELA and MORA are excluded. Full pricing and redemption terms are shown before payment.

When will SOLA Floor ship, and can I refund the reservation?

Shipping is planned to begin in October 2026. This is a planned shipping start, not an individual delivery date. The paid reservation is refundable before purchase. Final product pricing, warranty, delivery and product-return terms will be confirmed before payment.
